Veneers

Enhance the Shape and Colour of Your Smile

Veneers are thin, tooth-coloured shells placed over the front surface of teeth to improve their colour, shape, and overall appearance. At Allenby Gardens Dental, veneers offer a conservative cosmetic treatment for patients who want to achieve a more confident smile.

Compared with crowns, veneers usually require less removal of natural tooth structure, making them a suitable option for healthy teeth that need cosmetic improvement.

Types of Veneers

There are two main types of veneers:

  • Composite resin veneers – usually completed in a single visit
  • Ceramic veneers – custom-made by dental technicians for a highly natural result

Our dentists will assess your teeth and discuss which option best suits your needs, goals, and budget.

What Veneers Can Treat

Veneers can improve the appearance of teeth that are:

  • Discoloured
  • Slightly misaligned
  • Chipped or worn
  • Small in shape
  • Gapped, including spaces between the front teeth

By improving the balance and appearance of your smile, veneers can create a natural-looking result with minimal tooth preparation.

Please arrive 10 mins earlier to fill in our new patient medical and dental history form, so that we can gather all the information before discussing with our dentist your chief concerns, which we will aim to address first. If time permits, our dentists will perform a thorough exam of your teeth and take some X-rays to make sure we identify all issues in regards to your oral health. We will then provide you with insights about your teeth and oral hygiene, and if required - discuss possible personalised treatment options with you, providing detailed explanations using visuals from photos and X-rays. We don’t just look after you today but we also plan with you for the next 10 years.

At Allenby Gardens Dental, we recommend our patients to come back twice a year to have a regular check up and clean. This can help us to identify problems early and treat the issue when it is easy to manage. It is also important to maintain the healthiness of your teeth and gum.

We recommend parents to bring their child in for their first visit when their first tooth has come through. This will allow the kid to get used to the dental environment and enjoy a ride in the chair. Our goal is to establish a comfortable and pleasant experience for the child and establish a good impression from a young age, so that we can help guide them towards looking after their oral hygiene together.
