Teeth Replacement – Dentures

Comfortable Tooth Replacement Solutions

Dentures provide a practical option for replacing one or multiple missing teeth. At Allenby Gardens Dental, we offer customised dentures designed to restore the function and appearance of your smile.

Dentures can be used as a temporary or long-term solution depending on your dental needs. Our dentists will assess your oral health and help you choose the most suitable treatment.

Types of Dentures

There are two common types of denture materials:

  • Acrylic dentures – lightweight and commonly used for full dentures
  • Cast chrome dentures – stronger metal framework designed for partial dentures

Our dentists will explain the advantages of each option and guide you through the decision-making process.

Dentures may also be designed as:

  • Partial dentures to replace several missing teeth
  • Full dentures to replace all teeth in the upper or lower arch

Benefits of Dentures

Custom dentures help improve both function and appearance. They can:

  • Restore your smile
  • Support facial structure
  • Improve chewing ability
  • Make speaking clearer

Each denture is custom-made to ensure a comfortable and natural-looking fit.

Custom Dentures Designed for Comfort

At Allenby Gardens Dental, we work closely with trusted dental laboratories to create dentures that fit accurately and feel comfortable.

During the process, our dentists will assess your oral health, take detailed impressions, and adjust the dentures as needed to achieve the best result.

Caring for Your Dentures

Regular dental check-ups help ensure your dentures continue to fit properly. Over time, natural changes in the gums and jaw may require adjustments or replacement.

Our team will provide guidance on how to maintain your dentures and keep your mouth healthy.

We welcome new patients to join our Allenby Gardens Dental family. We look forward to meeting you and looking after you, we’ll also extend our welcome and service to your wider circle of family and friends.

Please arrive 10 mins earlier to fill in our new patient medical and dental history form, so that we can gather all the information before discussing with our dentist your chief concerns, which we will aim to address first. If time permits, our dentists will perform a thorough exam of your teeth and take some X-rays to make sure we identify all issues in regards to your oral health. We will then provide you with insights about your teeth and oral hygiene, and if required - discuss possible personalised treatment options with you, providing detailed explanations using visuals from photos and X-rays. We don’t just look after you today but we also plan with you for the next 10 years.

At Allenby Gardens Dental, we recommend our patients to come back twice a year to have a regular check up and clean. This can help us to identify problems early and treat the issue when it is easy to manage. It is also important to maintain the healthiness of your teeth and gum.

We recommend parents to bring their child in for their first visit when their first tooth has come through. This will allow the kid to get used to the dental environment and enjoy a ride in the chair. Our goal is to establish a comfortable and pleasant experience for the child and establish a good impression from a young age, so that we can help guide them towards looking after their oral hygiene together.
